We created The Joyful Nanny Consulting so nannies and families can manage their relationships with confidence and clarity.

About the Company

About the Founder

Hi! I’m Joy!

A Fort Worth native and proud TCU graduate with a bachelor's degree in communications and a double minor in sociology and psychology of leadership. My career began where many do—hands-on in the field—working as a nanny, family assistant, and household manager in private households for over a decade. I was even asked to move 1,000 miles away with one family from Dallas to Chicago for one year, which I happily did before returning back to Texas.

In my mid-20s, I channeled my passion for childcare and problem-solving into launching QuickSit, a mobile app that connected busy families to reliable college babysitters. The business took off, and I successfully exited the company—an achievement I’m proud of, though the app is no longer active today. This experience taught me firsthand what it means to identify needs and deliver value, no matter how high the stakes.

I’ve worked alongside professional athletes and ultra-high-net-worth families, navigating the demanding schedules, complex expectations, and fast-paced lifestyle that come with the territory. I know what it takes to thrive in these environments, and I bring that same level of dedication and professionalism to every consultation. I’m here to take the guesswork out of your hiring process—whether it’s finding the perfect nanny or preparing you for success in your next high-profile role.
